More Information Regarding Minnesota “No-Fault” auto insurance :
If you are injured in Minnesota as a result of a car accident, your own car insurance company is normally responsible for payment of treatment you receive for the injuries.
In most cases these benefits will be through your own car insurance company irregardless of who caused the accident. Additionally, auto insurance coverage is typically primary to any coverage available through a health insurance plan. If the accident was not your fault, your insurance company cannot raise your rates because you injured and sought treatment.

If you are involved in a car-accident and have injuries, contact your insurance company. A claims adjuster will provide you with a claim number and billing address. If you are involved in a car accident and do not own a car or have car insurance, you will most likely have insurance coverage through the vehicle in which you were riding. Call us. We can help you with this insurance process if necessary.
Basic Minnesota No-Fault auto benefits :
1. Medical Expenses.Coverage for visits to hospitals, chiropractors, medical doctors, and other health care providers. When you arrive at your appointment, give us the name of no-fault insurance company, along with the name and address of the adjuster and the claim number. We will bill the auto insurance company directly. Since you are not going through your health insurance plan, you will not have a co-pay.
2. Wage Loss.If the doctor writes a note taking you off of work or restricting your work, your car insurance company is obligated to pay 85% of your wage loss up to a maximum of $250.00 per week.
3. Mileage. You have a right to submit a claim for mileage back and forth to your appointments. We will keep track of your visits to our clinic and can determine the number of miles in a round trip. You can then submit that mileage for reimbursement.
4. Prescription Drugs. Your auto insurance company will reimburse you for the cost of medications related to treatment of the car-accident injuries; you must submit a copy of the prescription from a doctor along with a copy of the receipt showing that you purchased the medication.
5. Replacement Serivces. If the doctor tells you that you should not do things at home, such as housework or yard work, and it becomes necessary for someone else to do that work for you, you can submit a claim for hiring someone else to do the work to the car insurance company.
